LAKE/SURROUNDING AREA:
The lake is very attractive and about 6 kilometres long. The ice is on the lake from
late November till April 15th (the residents bet on this!). This is a recreational
lake and areas (hiking trails, ATVing, fishing, boating, water skiing, ice-fishing,
ski-dooing etc.). The area is quite stable and many people live at the lake and work
in Kamloops. The band is a major commercial landlord and operates a golf course and
an upscale housing development near Paul Lake.
